Tinted Windows seem to be everywhere this week! Between releasing their debut self-titled album on Tuesday, premiering their video for “Kind of a Girl” on FUSE, and performing on multiple late night TV shows, Trendsetter and AOL Music teamed up to present “Kind of a Girl” as video of the day on AOL. Trendsetter teamed up with our new friend, the ‘Queen of all Media’, Perez Hilton, to premiere new video “Messing with my Head” from S-Curve recording artist Tinted Windows. The video premiered on his site, PerezHilton.com this afternoon, reaching over 100 comments and over 28,000 views in the first few hours.

Lots of cool stuff going on here at Trendsetter! Tinted Windows and Care Bears on Fire’s new videos have both premeired and getting alot of buzz. Self-titled debut album from Tinted Windows due in stores April 21st. Both bands will also be playing at The Bamboozle this year. We The Kings are touring with the Bamboozle roadshow and their video has been added to The N. Trendsetter is also working with our friend Butch Walker again, working on his video for “Here Comes the Heartache” Rise Records artists Attack! Attack! will be interviewed by DJ Rossstar live from the Atticus tent at Bamboozle Left.

More exciting news, Trendsetter Marketing is almost one years old! In celebrating, we are planning a one year celebration concert on April 25th with some of our favorite bands from all different labels. We will keep you updated as bands confirm and are added to the show!

Tinted Windows is all over MySpace! Trendsetter and MySpace worked together to bring you the premiere for “Kind of a Girl” off their debut self-titled album due out April 21st! The video is featured on the front page of MySpace, as well as the front page of MySpace music and MySpace video.

Tinted Windows and Care Bears On Fire

We are currently working with Tinted Windows, formed by James Iha, previously of Smashing Pumpkins and A Perfect Circle, Taylor Hanson from Hanson, Adam Schlesinger of Fountains of Wayne, and Bun E. Carlos of Cheap Trick. The band will be playing their first show at the South by Southwest festival in Texas on March 20 and have recently been added to The Bamboozle Festival in New Jersey on May 3. The band is signed to S-Curve Records alongside We The Kings, Fountains of Wayne, and Tom Jones.

Also from S-Curve Records are Care Bears on Fire, which consists of Sophie, Izzy, and Jena. The band, who are 13 and 14 years old, have won over hipsters in the New York City club scene with their punk spirit and catchy songs. The 8th graders have already been featured on NPR, USA Today, The Cartoon Network, a Converse Commercial, and many more. Spin Magazine calls them “old-school classicists dressed up in Chuck Taylors”.
