WE THE KINGS
Back in 2008, We The Kings were relatively new band that popped out of The Sunshine Shate. They released their self-titled debut album back in 2007 which was home to Check Yes Juliet, the single that essentially put them on the map. With the sucess of their follow-up single Skyway Avenue, the band was surely not going anywhere soon. Trendsetter was brought on board to produce and promote the highly anticipated third video off the album Secret Valentine which landed significant rotation on MTV, MTV-U, MTV2 and The N as well as hot retail adds including Hot Topic, American Eagle, Delia*s, Tilly’s Skate and Surf and much more.
Leading up to the premiere of Secret Valetine, Trendsetter produced a series of featurettes that were later featured on the front page of different sites everyday leading up the premiere. A montage of screenshots can be seen below.
A year later, we’re still as involved as ever with the project. In December 2009, We The Kings released their second album Smile Kid and their epic music video “Heaven Can Wait” which starred Grandma’s Boy alumni Allen Covert and Peter Dante. To create hype for the video, Trendsetter produced a movie trailer that was featured on the front page of MySpace and received over 100K hits the first day! Shortly after the trailer was featured, the full length video PREMIERED on the front page of MySpace. Once the video was released, it was nothing less than amazing. Trendsetter secured placement on MTV Networks including rotation on MTV, MTV-U, MTV2, The N, and E! News among many others. We also continued production with We The Kings helping create Kings Carriages that have been featured on MTV Buzzworthy.

Their newest video for We’ll Be A Dream featuring Disney sensation Demi Lovato will be released later on this year. We are so excited to be a part of this project and watch the band grow from a small band out of Florida with a dream to being seen and heard all over the world living the dream!
