Trendsetter Media and Marketing just signed on to do a promotional campaign for Scott Weiland‘s new video “Tangle with your Mind” off his most recent solo album “Happy in Galoshes”. Scott is most notebly known for his work in Grammy award winning, multi-platimum artist Stone Temple Pilots as well as Velvet Revolver. We have a huge premiere in the works – keep an eye out!

Confide on Headbanger’s Ball

Trendsetter is excited to announce that Confide‘s video for “Such Great Heights” (The Postal Service cover) has been accepted to MTV Headbanger’s Ball. Headbanger’s Ball airs every Saturday night at 2am on MTV2. “Such Great Heights” will air on October 10th. Make sure to catch it or set your DVR!

Phone Calls From Home – BIG WIN!

It’s official! The boys of Phone Calls From Home took it home for this on this week’s edition of MTV-U The Freshmen. They received tons and tons of fan support and their were a lot of great comments left on the site regarding the band and the video. This video will enter rotation on MTV-U next week. Congratualtions!

Boys Like Girls – live video!

Trendsetter Media and Marketing, Columbia Records, and Livestream are partnering up to bring together the future of video marketing with the band Boys Like Girls. The guys will perform a live acoustic set from a Time Square studio and will be playing songs from their new album. The whole event, directed by Roy LaManna and hosted by FUSE’Allison Hagendorf, can be seen in real-time through a feature on Facebook. The page will also have a Twitter integration where fans will be able to request songs and ask questions directly to the band. We couldn’t be more excited about this project as it gets to combine numerous Trendsetter services to bring together what we really feel is the future of video marketing.

Phone Calls From Home on MTV-U THE FRESHMEN!!

Our good friends Phone Calls From Home are featured in this week’s installment of MTV-U The Freshmen. The show spotlights emerging artists on air and online, with the chance for one of the videos to get an automatic add into rotation on the channel the following week. Fans can vote on these videos online, starting Monday morning, and votes will end on Friday at 2:00 PM (EST) and be tabulated. Make sure to check out the video and place your votes here!

Bijou “Two Bottles” premiere

This Wednesday, Bijou premiered his music video for “Two Bottles” on MTV Logo NewNowNext PopLab. The episode was entitled the Utterly Shameless Totally Sexy Edition and also featured Britney Spears, Jamie Foxx, Pussycat Dolls, and Shakira. Looks like Bijou was in some pretty good company…
